We had a wonderful time working with George and Build LTD. We were impressed with their work going into the project and felt like they gave the most compelling bid that fit our needs and budget. Due to the fact that we needed to stay on a strict timeline, George truly stayed to his word on the timeline and delivered the project finished with hardly any delays. We had heard horror stories about delays, and this was something that we did not run into. We finished a gut renovation within four months. After starting to work together we realized that the team was top notch and the work was done with European quality. We loved the custom finishes George’s team manufactured with our closets and kitchens. We were also impressed with the tile work the team did with our marble bathroom and hallways. The team truly understood our modern vision and made sure it was complete to our liking. They went above and beyond to fox issues with the coop board and make sure we were pleased with the finish project. I would use George for our next project in a heartbeat, Thanks, Bruce

Custom Construction Services have completed 4 brownstone renovation projects for me over the last 2 1/2 years totaling nearly $6 million in construction work. George has a 23 man crew which are very experienced in residential construction. The team is well organized and are able to meet finishing (handover) dates and on occasions bring in projects earlier. The quality of the rough work and finishing work is exceptional, and the fact that George has European construction training – he spent 5 years at construction school shows through in the techniques that he uses to construct various elements of the work. The projects that Custom Construction Services have been awarded were competitively bid against 3 other contractors. His pricing structure is fair considering the speed of his work, the quality of materials/tools used and the construction knowledge that his direct employees posses. In my experience he only delivers a top quality product constructed to the highest standards. I am qualified British Architect and experienced project/construction manager (Masters Degree in Construction) and I would unreservedly recommend Custom Construction Services for all of your high end technical construction work/projects. Based on Build AD’s performance at Kane St they were directly awarded further Brownstone Renovation projects at Greene St, Brooklyn and 5th Ave in Harlem. Custom Construction Services have created a good track record of performance – their major strength is speed of construction (meeting deadlines), and quality of rough and finish construction (able to perform very complex and highly detailed construction details). They have a full-service woodwork mill shop, and have experienced shop craftsmen who are able to create high-end mill work (front doors, shop front restorations, kitchens, vanities, etc). I would recommend Custom Construction Services as a very qualified contractor who has the expertise and experience to perform work for you or your clients.

George Jaroszuk the principal of Custom Construction Services reached out to me requesting a reference. I have known George for approximately 4 years, and his first project was the full renovation of a brownstone at Kane St in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. I interviewed approximately 12 contractors to draw up a select bid list. Custom Construction Services made the list based on the very high quality of their finish work. There were five (5) contractor bids received for this project and Custom Construction Services tendered the lowest construction estimate out of the five. George has a large team of In-House tradesmen which means that he has great control over the speed of onsite construction. I visited his construction sites weekly and spent a considerable amount of time scrutinizing the quality of his construction work. He has fantastic experienced site supervisors, who are expert in sequencing the flow of construction operations, and I also observed weekly his tradesmen executing the work and found them to be very knowledgeable; all of the construction techniques and finishes were excellent!

Cobble Hill Townhouse With Wine Cellar, Brutalist Fireplace Wants $17,485 a Month

cobble-hill-brooklyn-apartment-for-rent-132-kane-street-1[1]

This striking townhouse, at 132 Kane Street in Cobble Hill, comes to us via Dixon, the Australian firm that’s been buying, renovating and renting Brooklyn townhouses at a furious clip in recent years. With its modernist design, this one’s a departure for the group, which has restored quite a few historic Brooklyn properties.

Said design was “inspired by early-20th-century modern French architects and designers such as Le Corbusier, Robert Mallet Stevens, Pierre Chareau, and Jean Prouve,” according to the listing, from Dixon Leasing’s Joshua Carney. The result “exhibits a refined industrialism paired with understated luxury.”

They didn’t cut any corners with this one, with features including poured concrete kitchen counters, radiant-heated en suite baths in each of the four bedrooms, dark-washed wood floors, high-end appliances, and a giant wine cellar with towering wine refrigerators, where you could host a party for the staff of Wine Spectator.
